Re: Mechanoids vs The demon fleet
After further looking it would seem the mechanoids win. After researching some things i have also come to realize that even though the mechanoids control 6 or so galaxies, no one has come up with an idea that maybe these might be dwarf galaxies which could range from 1600 to 32,000 light years in si...

Vampires are mostly vulnerable to the symbolic when it comes to stuff like that, the wooden stake being linked to nature and blah blah. you could maybe beat one into a bloody pulp and buy some time while it regenerates but just remember your training and you will get out of this alive.

Something like this is done in the anime Slayers for the city of Seyruun/Sailune m The entire city is laid out as a massive circle of protection. How about you plan the city as the circle itself, streets and avenues in the shape of the particular circle you desire, would be an interesting design and pretty modern looking from above come to think of it (new trend in city designs for "cities of the future")

I once put a TK force field around a person casting annihilate, mainly because knowing the character's pattern for massive AOE attacks and quick access to a talisman the enemy knew it was coming. That hurt, got applause from the players though.

I have read a book that has a castle which is in the design of a magic circle. It had mortar reinforced which used blood as a component because in that series blood made magic circles stronger. I didn't ask where the blood came from. I highly doubt it was from willing donors.

I view technique as allowing for that to carry over to md which would include damage bonuses based in hand to hand based on weapon damage. So yeah 2 separate damage bonus might have to factor in. More complicated but worth a 6 -10+ additional damage

Rifts mages tend to focus more as support (armor of ithan is amazing for a low level spell) at lower levels, it isn't till you reach higher levels that it becomes more of a direct combat type. and rifts mages can use guns and tech to supplement until they get higher.
