Well, for sure take a gander at any of the 3 Mad Max Movies (Mad Max, Mad Max II, and Fury Road. Don't believe anyone telling you otherwise......). But also check out, The Rover. Another road going Aussie flick, with Guy Pearce as the lead. It's set in an early post apocalypse, in that it's 10 years...

Re: Quike character startup...

There was a poster by the name of Priest (I think), that came up with a pretty good character gen program for Rifts, and he sent them a working (but far complete) version. From memory PB basically told him to stop working on it, or they'd send him a cease & desist via their lawer. Not surprising...

I'm a bit late to the discussion, but here are my thoughts/experiences. Many, many, many moons ago, in the first real gaming group I played with, the DM had his younger brother as a secondary DM, who also had a character. Most times the DMs brother would just play his character, but would help out w...

Re: Where is Mystic Australia?

The entire Rifts Manuscript was so big, it was to be split up into three books, with one focusing on the magical side of the Rifts Australia setting, and the third one being practically a dimension book on the Dreamtime. There was some noise a couple of years ago that a different author was going to...

Sounds a little like a D&D game I wanted to run years ago but never got around to it. Basically a fantasy world (based on Earth) hundreds of years after some apocalyptic event wiped out most of humanity. No humans (only the occasional human npc in stasis), and most of the 'classic' fantasy races...

It doesn't surprise me. Any shipping outside of the continental US is bound to be high. $54 isn't the highest I've seen. Personally I've seen $98 USD for shipping a paperback novel. Sure, it might be shipping to Australia, but that's still ridiculous.
