Rifts® Sourcebook One, Revised and Expanded ships in 8 days, and we hope to keep new releases coming pretty fast and furious from this point forward.
Every page has been rewritten and updated, plus 40 new pages have been added, along with new artwork (along with the best of old art), new history and new ideas.
We are already hard at work on this title. All artwork is finished and updates, editing and rewrites are underway. This is another book fans have been begging for. All new artwork, Dave Dorman cover. Lots of source material for players and Game Masters alike. In final production!
The usual mix of news, gaming ideas, source material, fiction and fun.
John Zeleznik – confirmed!
Ramon Perez – confirmed!
Mark Evans – confirmed!
Scott Johnson – confirmed!
Erick Wujcik – 90% certain!
John Zeleznik has not attended a convention in the Midwest or East in more than 10 years. Heck, he’s practically worth the price of admission all by himself. Plus, he’ll be bringing original artwork and limited edition prints to sell. John will be available the entire event to sign autographs, chat and have fun. Big John is making the trip from California and the poor guy is afraid to fly. How is that for loyalty and dedication to Palladium fans?!
Ramon Perez is one of Palladium’s fan favorite artists of all time. Ramon has been busy with many of his own, personal projects, so he has not done a gaming convention in years either. Ramon is fun, funny and available to sign autographs, chat and sell artwork, prints and his comic book, Butternut Squash. Oh, yeah, there will be a special new book debuting at the Open House involving Ramon Perez. We’ll tell you more about it in a few weeks, but you can read all about it in Kevin Siembieda’s interview on gamingreport.com being posted later today or tomorrow. It’s also listed on the back of Rifts® Sourcebook One, Revised (ah, the secrets and the fun continue). Ramon is coming in from Toronto, Canada.
Mark Evans is the fabulous artist behind the Madhaven™, MercTown™ and Splicers® covers, among others. He’s a great guy as well as a great artist and he’ll be bringing original art and prints to sell at the Open House. Mark is trekking in from New York.
Scott Johnson needs no introduction. This is the artistic master best known for his Glitter Boy in flames cover to Chaos Earth (and The Rifter® #18) and the Rifts® Ultimate Edition cover, among others. He was here last year to the delight of many and he’ll be back again.
Erick Wujcik the genius behind the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® RPG, After the Bomb® RPG, Ninjas & Superspies, Mystic China, Rifts® China 1 & 2, Revised RECON® and Amber Diceless, among others, and hasn’t even been in the country the last 2-3 years! Well, Erick is back from living abroad in China, at a new job at a video company in sunny California. He says he’s 90% certain he can get away from work to come on down to the Palladium Open House. That means you can game with a true RPG living legend.
And speaking of old guys . . . er . . . living legends, Kevin Siembieda, the founder and Publisher of Palladium Books®, creator of Rifts®, Heroes Unlimited™, Palladium Fantasy®, Beyond the Supernatural™, Chaos Earth™, The Mechanoids®, and author or Robotech® and hundreds of other role-playing game books (in case you didn’t know) will be running 4-6 games as well as being around for every second of the three day extravaganza.
Go to the recently updated Palladium Open House board for a complete list of Palladium’s 40+ guests (Carl Gleba, Apollo Okamura, Jason Richards, Jeff Russell, Todd Yoho, Nick Bradshaw, Brandon Aten, Mark Dudley, and many, many, many more).
It’s official, the Open House will have a costume party for fun and glory. All costumes should be Palladium characters.
The winner, second place, third place and runner up will get something cool for their creativity (haven’t figured out prizes yet). So dress up Saturday as your favorite Palladium Character from any of Palladium’s game lines from Palladium Fantasy to Rifts®. This should be awesome. Rumor has it one person is coming as a Wolfen and another as a Coalition Dead Boy.
Get those imaginations burning and fingers working to make a costume.

Our lease ends in April or May of 2008 and we may elect to move to a smaller facility.
A smaller place means we can’t host a big event like a gaming convention at our own place. So this might be your last chance to see and game at the legendary Palladium offices and warehouse in Taylor, Michigan! Rent on a building with 17,000 square foot warehouse and 5,000 square feet of office area is around $11,000 a month and one month’s heating bill in winter can be $2500! We can probably cut that by half if we consolidate into a space half the size. The Palladium office and warehouse have been a home away from home for 15 years, so we hate the idea of moving. The verdict’s not in yet, but if we move (75% likelihood) there probably won’t be any more Open House events.
Hey! Where are all our Game Masters from last year and new guys? We need the game descriptions for your Open House RPG events as soon as possible so we can make our schedule and post it! James, Zach, Carl, Jason, Brandon, Jason M., Levi and all the rest . . . get your info to us as soon as possible.
If you are a high quality Game Master and would like to run one or more role-playing events, please contact us! We are looking for events for ALL our game lines, including Robotech®, Nightbane®, After the Bomb®, Palladium Fantasy®, Heroes Unlimited, Chaos Earth, Rifts®, BTS, and all the rest.
We’ll need your name, telephone number, email address, a description of each game, the number of players for each game, the day and your preferred time (no guarantee) to play, so we can do our schedule and post ‘em by March!
Help us make this the best Palladium gaming convention ever.
If you wanna lend a hand as a grunt volunteer directing traffic in the parking lot, throwing out trash, stocking snack foods, cleaning up, setting up chairs, watching the door and running errands, etc., please let us know. We already have a pretty solid list, but may need more.
