Palladium Open House – May 5 (V.I.P. Friday), 6 & 7, 2006

Rates apply to a “single” (King-size bed) or a “double” (two full-size or twin beds) – make sure you indicate if you need one or two beds.

The hotel has been incredibly accommodating and has offered us great prices on rooms. It has been recently remodeled and offers a swimming pool, weight room/spa, FREE continental breakfast and FREE parking.

The Ramada Inn is only about 3-4 miles Southwest of the Palladium Books offices and centrally located near numerous places to eat on Eureka Road (in both directions). Also nearby is a Star Theater, the Southland Mall, Borders Bookstore, Target, Meijer Shopping Center, Marshall Fields, and many other stores, and, of course, Palladium Books (off of Northline & Telegraph in the Metro-Telegraph Industrial Park).

Plus, for you crazy people looking to “game all night long,” the Ramada Inn will be providing Palladium with at least one or two Presidential Suites (900 square feet) where a few games run by Palladium madmen like Carmen Bellaire, Carl Gleba, Todd Yoho and Julius Rosenstein can be held. Please, just keep the noise level down. We may want to come back to this hotel some day. :)

Palladium is looking into additional accommodations at other nearby hotels in case we need additional space (like the Red-Roof Inn a block away), but the Ramada Inn will be our main hotel headquarters!

V.I.P. Friday is almost sold out!

Tickets for the Palladium Open House only became available for purchase on January 2, 2006 and as of January 11, 32 out of 40 slots have been sold! If you intend to be part of V.I.P. Friday, you’d better order soon.

Tickets for the weekend and individual days are also coming in at a surprising rate. At this rate, we suspect the Open House could be sold out by the end of March!

Gamers from around the world
are coming to the Palladium Open House

Palladium fans are coming from coast to coast and from as far away as Australia!

You heard right, we sold a weekend pass (and V.I.P. Friday) to a crazy person . . . er . . . a dedicated and wonderful fan from AUSTRALIA. A couple of folks from England and Germany have also made noises about coming to the Palladium Open House too, although they have yet to purchase tickets.

Meanwhile, we have people coming in from Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, New York, Virginia, Toronto, Windsor, and elsewhere from across the United States and Canada. We have to admit, we are surprised (and thrilled) to see so many people coming from far and wide. We’ll do our best to make it all worth the trip.

Gaming Events – a work in Progress

Julius Rosenstein, Carmen Bellaire, Todd Yoho, Brandon Aten, Taylor White, and Roger Cartier have all committed to run games at the Palladium Open House, along with a handful of quality G.M.s we know from the area, but we still need more Game Masters.

Our goal is to have 40-60 gaming events held over the weekend (not including panel discussion and seminars).

If you are planning on attending the Open House and would like to run an “official” gaming event for it PLEASE contact us as soon as possible at palladium-gm@palladiumbooks.com or call (734) 946-1156.

Tell us your name, telephone number, email address, your T-shirt size, the name of the game(s) you’d like to run, a brief description, the number of players you can run, the approximate running time (typically 3-4 hours), and the time of day or evening you’d prefer to run.

Game Masters will get a special commemorative gift and special consideration.
