The Rifter® #73 is going to be another great issue with a lot of “official” source material. The Rifter® #71-72 should be hitting store shelves now. It is one of the best issues of The Rifter® ever, filled with a bunch of official game material and a few surprises.

UPDATE: Island at the Edge of the World^™, 1st Edition rules – available now

You asked for it and we provide it. Island at the Edge of the World™ is a short print run of the book with First Edition rules, but is easily adapted to Palladium Fantasy, 2nd Edition. It has been selling and finding its way into Christmas Surprise Packages for the last few weeks.

2016 – the Year Ahead

I know everyone is waiting to hear what’s coming in 2016 – in detail. I can’t offer a ton of detail just yet, but we have a lot of exciting things in the works or brewing. 2016 has the potential to be incredible and exciting. Here are some of the highlights.

● Ever in motion, is the future. A number of things that we have quietly put into motion over the last year or two seem to be coming together. And they could mean some exciting times for us and you. We’ll share more when we have something concrete to report.

● 2016 Robotech® RPG Tactics. We renewed the Robotech® license and look forward to getting RRT Wave Two into your hands and onto store shelves. I’ll offer up more info and details in an update in the next few weeks. More Robotech® sourcebooks are in the pipeline, too.

● 2016 Savage Rifts®, the Pinnacle adaptation of the Rifts® setting to the Savage World rules, should see release sometime this year. We’ve seen some of the art and preliminary work on rules and text and it’s impressive.

● 2016, more licenses? Palladium has been approached by a handful of interested third parties about licensing and developing various I.P.s. in different markets. These include Rifts®, Splicers®, Nightbane® and Heroes Unlimited™. We already have a couple of startup companies with product ideas that sound very promising. One is looking to do a Rifts® board game that sounds incredible. Another is considering taking Heroes Unlimited™ or After the Bomb® into the digital game medium. And there’s more we cannot yet talk about. You know, sworn to secrecy until there is some real, hard news to report.

● More feet on the ground. Mark Freedman of Surge Licensing remains Palladium’s licensing agent, but another player is getting involved in shopping Palladium’s I.P.s (Intellectual Properties) around. We’ll consider any serious offers from companies, large and small, established and startups, who know the Palladium properties and aim to remain true to the I.P.s and the fans.

● More RPG books. A lot more. In addition to several Rifts® and Splicers® titles, there are two Palladium Fantasy® books being written even as you read this, two Heroes Unlimited™ titles, one Dead Reign® sourcebook, and plans developing for Beyond the Supernatural™, Robotech® and more.

2016: Rifts^® on steroids!

Powerful events could change Rifts® Earth and the Megaverse®

A number of people seem to think that Megaverse® in Flames is the final chapter in The Minion War™. Far from it.

The Minion War™ will have lasting and profound repercussions across North America and elsewhere. You may see kingdoms and powerful forces rise and fall. The Coalition States, Free Quebec, the Federation of Magic, Lazlo, Archie Three, the Republicans, Cyber-Knights and others shall feel the impact of the Minion War in ways none of them (or you!) could have imagined before Megaverse® in Flames.

It all unfolds before your eyes in upcoming sourcebooks like The Coalition States: Heroes of Humanity™, The Disavowed™, Rifts® Haunted Tech™ (tentative title), Federation of Magic: Pact with the Devil (tentative title), and others over this year and next. Not only that, but some storylines have connections to the past as well as affect the present. This is going to be epic. And yes, you are hearing about some of these titles for the very first time.

2016 Conventions

Mark your calendars: AdeptiCon end of March, Anime North end of May and Gen Con in early August. Not sure if we’ll add conventions, as our focus is knocking out game product galore, but we’ll consider all invitations.

Gen Con events NEEDED by end of January, 2016

It’s that time of year again, Game Masters. We need you to submit your Gen Con events to NMI so we can offer another great Gen Con of Palladium gaming events. Coordinating game events through Palladium and the Megaversal Ambassadors enables us to get a dedicated gaming location at Gen Con, which makes finding and running events easier.

And there is still time for YOU to represent Palladium with your role-playing game event.
