Books are shipping! Orders for Christmas Surprise Packages are starting to pick up in number already. (Cool.) Graveyard Earth™ ships on Monday; the printer suffered a brief delay when the laminating machine went down, so instead of shipping today it will ship on Monday. (This is an awesome resource with tons of ideas.) Bizantium and the Northern Islands™ is in final production! (Very cool. Ships end of November.) The Rifter® #68 is in production. And something in the neighborhood of 1,500 packages of Robotech® RPG Tactics™ have shipped out so far this week. (Fantastic!) And all kinds of exciting and positive things are going on behind the scenes. I can hardly wait till we can share them with you!
And it is Halloween! As I mentioned in the last Weekly Update, Halloween is as big as Christmas for Kathy and me. Our display has been up since October 1, and more than a thousand people have visited over the last four weeks. We get 400-500 people every weekend to enjoy it! With beautiful weather we must have had 700-800 people come by last weekend alone. It is difficult to tell exactly how many “unique” individuals visit, because many people visit over and over again, especially the local families in the neighborhood. Kids love it, and make their parents bring them over many times. I think teenagers and adults enjoy it just as much. We also see many familiar faces, as people tell friends and family and bring many first-timers to share in the fun. Delightful. We’ll be keeping the display up over the weekend, but it all comes down on Monday and Tuesday before the next rain. It takes about two and a half weeks to put up, but only 2-3 days to take it all down (thank goodness). I have gotten a number of requests from you guys and gals to show the display online, so here are a few photos of this year’s display with a link to many, many more on the Palladium Facebook page. Enjoy and Happy Halloween.
