I will admit most of my fave things were early on in the Rifter.

-P.P.E. chanelling
-new martial art forms
-archery hand to hand moves
-expanded megaheroes
-new mental and physical skills

I love all the BtS,s ones, form Pcc to Monsters and Adventures,The best ones are the Lucky Psychic from Rifter 52,the Monsters from Rifter 71/72 and Hollow road from Rifter 65.

I hope Rifter 83 and 84 have Adventure ideas in a Haunted house with a map.

What do you hope will be the next BtS,s articles?

My favorite things in the Rifter tend to be the short stories as well as the GM and player advice.

Some favorites:

#46 - Dark Realm of Netosa (PFRPG)
#60 - Strange Things in the Bootheel (BTS)
#65 - Chaos Eve (CE)

Honestly, I like new choices more than about anything else.

I don't have all The Rifter publications, but of those that I do here are some of my favorite articles.

Rifter 52 - Ruins to Runes

Rifter 52 - The Crusaders and The Black Crusade (Tattoo) Magic

Rifter 49 - Vampires Revisited

Rifter 24 - Card Magic

Rifter 53 - Lucky Psychic

Rifter 29 - The Magic of War

These are just a few of my favorites. There was a lot of great content in The Rifters.

I love the idea of card magic but its so terribly inefficient and hard to gain anything. the elemental stuff is pretty sweet though if you can get that far.

I never got to play a Card mage but I thought they were a neat combination of Wizard/Diabolist/Summoner. A jack of those trades but master of none.

The protection cards (circles) moving with you would have been really handy.

My favorite would be the landscape card followed by teleport card.

I agree learning anything would be difficult. Hopefully you'd have an accommodating GM.

I remember that when I first read the card magic stuff "I thought wow this is really imaginative and something totally different". Then when I started to think about it I was really hoping that no one would ever play it. I had no idea how I was going to make that work in a group.
