I suggest that you warn the person that you are out of character, just to be polite as some people do everything in character.

Will ther be Character and Monster bios in it?

Do you think the Woodcarver will be in the Tome Grotesque?

Do you have any ideas for Demons?

Some on the boards allready have 5 or 6 personalities . . . not even counting the ones they post as.

Not me though, which is part of why I could generate such an unbalanced post count for Ron.

I'm hitting 500 before the end of the month.

For those that might be interested, I am The Traveler King. If you can get your hands on 1st Edition BTS, you can find what his employer is working on. :)

I'm already posting as a Diviner/Adept Character.. and with the astral traveling rules, I' have him as having been to the nightlands for quite some time and staying on the " BTS " realm to hide out

Explosives Expert: How about Nobel (guy who invented dynamite, used the profits to fund a prize for people who refrain from using explosives)

Physical Guy: Choose a dumb jock nickname like Mack or The Big Unit - if you want him to be a jockish type of course.

Cynical Healer: Saulk

Dr. Saulk invented the Saulk vaccine, which prevented polio I beleive. It also sounds like sulk. So if he's a sullen type cynical it works.

Needs a facelift, though.

http://www.coasttocoastam.com is an almost too good real life analogy for general content. It'd be nice to see some actual photos & photomorphs & the like, a bit more color.

About ten years ago I was a closing cook for Pizza Hut, ended up driving home after midnight all the time. I'd pull off at a secluded exit at the top of a hill and listen to coast to coast with Art Bell..

..He does (or at least did back then) of maintianing a non-biased position while stringing along his guests to get them to put forth their notions...

My wife loved the idea of having a monster kidnap a poster and steal his account to taunt the Society, and when Debunker teamed up with Ron, I cheered.

That was so awesome.

Wasn't my first choice but it was definately more um.... forum friendly shall we say :) Plus it just leaves so many possible ways to go that it's hard to ignore as an explaination for a long absence

A belated thank you. I love covering the "weird science" end of BTS. I'd like to see Erick come back and expand on the Madison Randolph material, though.

A recovering from a weekend with Huntress? hehe

Longer than a weekend and more company than just Huntress and very X-rated, but yeah, thats the general plan

The way Huntress is portrayed, all you'd need is her. Anything else would just get in the way. The real trick is to imply it and keep it within the rules of the board.

I'll be offline after next week. I'll be portraying that as Traveler King undergoing his training. If I'm gonne longer than two months, it should be assumed "in game" that King has gone on a mission for REC.

Not sure where to report this, but there is a spam bot on the "Community Outreach" forum of the Lazlo Society boards.

In the thread about Weapons.

You might want to PM one of the Lazlo Society mods. It has its own administration, independent of the regular Palladium boards.

Whoever is playing the person who doesn't believe int he supernatural, with the "friend" is doing a great job.

Took me a couple of posts to catch on to what your character really is, but it's really well done.

My new group drifted apart, or I would have used some of the posters as NPCs. One thing that's hard to do is post a hook and then leave it unresolved.

i had planned to turn my "Men in Black" post into a full rifter article, but since they hijacked that thread real fast with junk, it kind of killed it.

i was looking to have an IC discussion of the men in black, and similar goverment conspiracies, but it turned into a demented "warstories" thread, about aliens turning to blue goo and insane robots. :x

oh well, i can always try again.

So specify that you're after the real MIBs, not the "others" that were croppng up.

nah, i figured out an angle.

looking back at UFO mythos, i saw a real life government project to erm.... "borrow". Project bluebook.

so my hook is now "project blackbook", started in 1942 to investigate possible Nazi sabotage being disgiused as supernatural events. similar concept. government starts underfunded project to collect and analyze records of supernatural occurrences, only to find the real thing. of course, its a intelligence community thing, so the cover ups are to keep mass panic from hitting.

the men in black become both agents to counter super-nat events, and agents to ensure no one can reveal the existence of it without being laughed at.

the "police dark rooms" and DR-1313 forms tie in (from the example article in the back of BTS2), as well.

I'd be happy to change your username for you, especially since it's the same as it is here on these boards (which I've tried to avoid/prevent; I must have missed it).

What would you like it to be changed to?

Backend question for Lazlo Society Board

I really enjoyed reading this post.

Agency help requested with a haunted building

I can't think of a better example of what the Lazlo Society web page is supposed to be. Kudos to all who contributed to this!

My question. Did you guys talk out of character, off-site, to create the battle report, or was it just free-form roleplay 100%?

Either way, it was a superior job by all and expecially by whoever writes Private Dic McVay.

Thanks again.

A little of Column A a little of Column B

Lazlosociety has the same private messaging system Palladium does.

There were some PMs and emails bounced around. The author of the Rifter article (McVay) gave us an outline, and we fleshed it out. I tried to make sure every character had a chance to shine.

IIRC, the last adventure outline was, "Team gets together and goes to the apartment. Monster in the basement sends thugs after the team. Monster is cornered and destroyed."

My colaborations with Robin and Koyla pretty much went the same way, though with Koyla there was a bit more detail beign hashed out for the actual encounters and we wrote the dialogues in advance so we could get a more seemless shared narrative.

That is unfortunate. It also has been hapepning a lot recently.

I don't know if it's taking time to for the admin to get around to activating new acocunts or your spam blocker sucked up the you are activated email. Check your mail filters.

what is the user name? I know I asked this of you before, but now I am personally in the position to activate the account without having to go to a higher up (ie.. I have been made a mod there as well)
