Here's a minor one... In RMB, the cyborg forearm blaster could all fire aimed, burst, or wild. So the 6D6+6 MD particle beam could completely rip something apart. If a GM was to be strict, he could limit it to the 10 shots in an e-clip, but if it was hooked up to the 'borg's power supply.... (I can ...

My head-canon: a dragon's wings create a magical whoosh-whoosh to enable flight. So while they're not large enough from a physics point of view, they are needed from a magical point of view.

FWIW, the Create Wood spell has always bugged me because it first talks about logs or planks without giving complete dimensions, and later it says the spell creating 100 lbs / level without converting it back to the logs & planks. So a bit of math later... Soft Wood: -- A plank of 1x12x72 inches...

The text appears to be deliberately vague, leaving it up to the GM. A few thoughts: -- Based on Erin Tarn's comments on the Yhabbayar (Psyscape p14) then it would be 6-8 months prior to 105 PA, so call it 104 PA. -- Based on p13, it vanished 'roughly 200 years ago," and that was written in 90 P...

Also, I object to the idea that somebody out west is going to be THAT much better with a pistol than somebody in the East or anywhere else. Had an amusing thought regarding the GB's limited ammo supply of 100 rounds. Since the GB fires from a stationary position, you could build a massive ammo drum completely separate from the armor. Basically, the GB walks up to it, unplugs his normal ammo belt and plugs into the massive drum. It'd onl...

Per the U.S. DOD the Mach 7 railgun firing a 23 lbs, 18" long round at 100 yards away sounds like a .30-06. If the sabot discards immediately after exiting the muzzle then the "flechettes", which should darts or they're not flechettes, should spread wildly as they're depicted as flat...

A few years ago I did some math on how many Xiticix could a GB Legion kill. The idea was to put a Legion just on the edge of Xiticix territory and let the bugs come to them. Buddy of mine had a modified attribute roll that I liked: When creating a character, roll 4D6 (instead of 3D6) and drop the lowest die. However, if the score was 16+ then you had to use the dropped die instead of rolling another 1D6. It raised the average attribute by about 2 points, and you were mo...

A few random comments... For much of the same reasoning Killer Cyborg provided, I prefer to keep the payload to 100/40 rounds. The following is from an old post on the same discussion. Fun with math... Take the illustration of a Boom Gun round (RUE p73, or RMB p221) which gives us a size of 7 inches long by 2.41 inches wide. So here's a way to think about it: training in HtoH isn't just about learning to throw a punch, or how to parry. It's about learning to be comfortable in combat, not panicking, and keeping one's cool. That mental aspect is what allows a mage to quickly recite an invocation and channel his PPE. That'...

I would not underestimate an Air Warlock, because they have a couple tricks up their sleeve thanks to the level 5 spell Phantom.
